Everyone knows not to leave a baby alone, even for a few minutes. But Sylvie thought that, since her six-week-old baby was sleeping, she could run to the store for five minutes. In those few moments, a kidnapper enters her apartment and takes the baby!
As hours turn into days, the chances of recovering the baby grow more remote. Sylvie comes to blame herself for her baby's disappearance and so do those around her - her overbearing mother, the police, the FBI, and eventually even the baby's father.
